Exceptional Blaufränkisch grapes from Römerberg, Baden. Partially foot-crushed, 50% whole bunch, cold carbonic maceration for six days, gently pressed, and aged for a year in used oak barrels. Minimal sulfur added post-fermentation and before bottling. Bottled with fine lees, unfiltered.
